On its way to the east coast via Nottingham and Grantham in
1994, The Jolly Fisherman is seen here passing Bingham, behind Standard 2-6-4
tank No. 80080.
In the second shot, the driver is obviously not quite so
jolly, as he quite rightly indicates to me that I have strayed too close to the
platform edge for my own safety, as I try to get a better angle from which to
take my photograph.
I lived to tell the tale, but felt suitably admonished on my
journey home. I have learnt my lesson.
