My two eldest grandchildren’s first steam locomotive was The
Great Marquess. She was performing on the North York Moors Railway during the
summer of 2015 when we stayed in the town for a week.
The Gresley Class K4 2-6-0 is surely a very good engine to begin
train spotting with. I’m sure they will thank me for getting them started in
the fullness of time.
